Shablis is the daughter of no other than D'LIght, our favorite female. D'Light is a magnificent female with crimpy, dense and super soft fleece ( 22.7 microns at 6 years old !).
Shablis is always the first one to come and see us and she's super gentle and easy to manipulate. With a first histogram of 17.8 microns and only 0.2% fibers over 30 microns at 1 year old, it's not surprising we have decided to keep her in our breeding program.
Unfortunately, Shablis was not able to attend any show because of an infection to the jaw that got her to have 2 operations. She is now very well, but still bears the markings of multiple shearings in the face and neck area. We can't wait for next year to get some nice pictures of her full fleece !
